Citigroup raised the rating of China's stock market to over allocation, and adjusted the allocation of South Korea, Taiwan, China and Mexico
On July 19, Citigroup released the outlook report for the second half of 2026 on emerging market equity strategy, upgraded China's rating to "over allocation", downgraded South Korea's rating to "neutral", upgraded Mexico's rating to "neutral", and maintained Taiwan, China's "over allocation". Citigroup has set the year-end target price for the MSCI Emerging Markets Index at 1870 points and the mid-2027 target price at 2050 points, and recommends maintaining a core overweight position on AI/technology within the 6-12 month horizon.
