KRX bidding research on the market impact and regulatory solutions of high-frequency trading

KRX announced on the 20th that it is conducting a research tender on the market impact and regulatory measures of high-frequency trading (HFT). The bidding deadline is the 27th, and the research plan is scheduled to be completed in the second half of the year. KRX stated that this study will provide reference for regulatory frameworks, and existing risk control measures include the high-speed algorithmic trader registration system implemented in 2023 and the bulk order cancellation circuit breaker mechanism.
