Samir Samana, Global Head of Equity and Physical Asset Strategy at Wells Fargo, stated that the risk return structure of gold has improved, and there is an opportunity for a $500 downside to exchange for a $1500 upside potential. Samir Samana pointed out that there is a short-term risk of gold falling to $3500, and the range of $4500 to $4900 is the resistance level for rebound. In the long run, an economic slowdown may drive the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates. The investment research institute of Wells Fargo predicts that gold prices will rise to $5300 to $5500 by the end of 2026 and $5800 to $6000 by the end of 2027.
