Japan's crude oil import prices hit a historic high in June, breaking records for three consecutive months
According to data released by the Japanese Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, the import price of crude oil in June hit a historic high for the third consecutive month in Japanese yen terms. After customs clearance, the import price increased by 84.7% compared to the same period last year, reaching 117684 yen per thousand liters, about 722 US dollars, surpassing the record of 114076 yen per thousand liters set in May. The price in US dollars was 117.16 US dollars per barrel.
