Lavrov and Rubio will meet at the ASEAN summit on Thursday

According to Sputnik, Lavrov and US Secretary of State Rubio have agreed to meet during the ASEAN summit on Thursday morning. Russia stated that Washington has not abandoned the proposal regarding Ukraine discussed during the Alaska talks; Lavrov will ask Rubio to clarify Washington's current position on resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
