The platform enables collaboration between employees and AI agents. Buzz integrates team chat, code repositories, and automated workflows, supporting Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Block's self-developed Goose model. The code is open-sourced under the Apache 2.0 license. Jack Dorsey stated that the platform aims to reduce reliance on Slack and GitHub. The current version, 0.4.21, supports macOS, Windows, and Linux desktop platforms.
