According to CCTV News, the US House of Representatives has passed an annual defense policy bill worth nearly $1.15 trillion with a vote of 216 in favor and 212 against. The bill will be sent to the Senate for a vote. This National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) aims to enhance defense production capacity and pay active duty military personnel, authorizing funding for the development of next-generation fighter jets, B-21 Raider bombers, P-8 maritime patrol aircraft, F-35 fighter jets, as well as Chinook and Blackhawk helicopters, approving funds for the construction of Columbia class ballistic missile submarines, Virginia class nuclear submarines, and Arleigh Burke class destroyers, and codifying multiple executive orders from the Trump administration.
