According to SlowMist Monitoring, the decentralized financial protocol Lien Finance has been attacked, with attackers exploiting vulnerabilities in smart contracts to mint unsecured bond tokens and steal approximately $542000 USD. The attacker forged a new non abnormal BondToken without destroying the corresponding input bond, and exchanged USDC through a pre authorized address, ultimately transferring approximately 542144.63 USDC from the victim address. This incident was caused by a verification flaw in the bond token exchange logic, where attackers bypassed asset collateral constraints and minted unsupported assets.
