According to CCTV, the merchant ship Disha was attacked by unidentified projectiles near the Strait of Hormuz, with thick smoke billowing from the engine room. 30 crew members on board issued emergency distress signals. US personnel issued a warning to the ship (formerly known as a tugboat number), stating that it was sailing towards Iran in violation of requirements and was preparing to fire on the engine room, requesting the crew to evacuate.
