James Logan: The Federal Reserve should raise interest rates in July to avoid political risks
According to a report by Golden Ten Data, James Lagan, Co Chief Investment Officer and Director of Investment Management and Research at D.A. Davidson, stated that the escalation of the US Iran military conflict is disrupting inflation and employment trends, and the Federal Reserve needs to assess the sustainability of core inflation. If it determines that inflation expectations have formed, it should raise interest rates in July instead of September to avoid the risk of political criticism from the midterm elections later this year.
