According to Yonhap News Agency, the South Korean government has formed the AIDC Alliance with the industry, planning to build 18.4GW AI data centers and promote computing power exports. 12 companies including SK Telecom, Naver Cloud, Samsung SDS, Kakao, KT, LG Electronics, etc. are participating. The South Korean government plans to expand the National Growth Fund to 200 trillion Korean won, and allocate 30% to 40% of it to AI, semiconductor, and power infrastructure, supporting the construction of AI data centers and industrial chains.
