The relevant clues were provided by WhatsApp, and the individuals involved were operating in the Bobe area of Banteay Meanchey Province, Cambodia. OpenAI has shared relevant information with industry partners, but the specific losses caused by the network are still unclear, with some victims losing thousands of dollars.
