Switzerland's Distributed Ledger Technology Act, which came into effect in 2021, provides a legal framework for crypto assets, driving the Crypto Valley ecosystem to host 1,749 blockchain companies. 37% of Swiss respondents believe cryptocurrency is a worthwhile investment asset, and 45% support it becoming an international reserve currency, both leading Germany and Austria. Germany's DZ Bank, through its meinkrypto platform and Dekabank, offers crypto services to the savings bank network, covering approximately 80 million customers.
