According to GlobeNewswire, Hashdex announced that it will close and liquidate its Bitcoin ETF (NYSE Arca: DEFI), which had approximately $14.7 million in assets under management as of July 30th. Hashdex has decided to close the fund based on its asset management scale, trading liquidity, operating costs, investor interest, and product line positioning. The last trading day of the Bitcoin ETF (DEFI) is August 17th, after which it will cease accepting creation orders and be delisted from NYSE Arca. Shareholders holding until the last trading day will receive cash settlement distributions around August 28th. Hashdex currently manages over $200 million worth of investable products for US investors.
