Lawson will test POS machines to directly accept JPYC, USDC, and USDT payments at two stores in Tokyo

Rosen will conduct Japan's first POS cash register stablecoin payment empirical experiment at two stores in Tokyo on August 6 and August 17. The experiment will use three stablecoins, JPYC, USDC, and USDT, to complete payments through HashPort Wallet and MetaMask Wallet. The settlement will be processed by the PAYTREE multi code payment gateway provided by Canal Payment Service, without the need for a dedicated payment terminal.
