According to The Defiant, Wells Fargo will launch a tokenized deposit service for corporate customers this fall, initially supporting a USD/GBP channel, with plans to expand its scope by 2027. This service supports 24/7 settlement and programmable payments, with deposits retaining bank liability attributes, regulatory protection, and deposit insurance qualifications. Cosmos Labs co-founder confirms that the blockchain is based on Cosmos technology.
