Coinbase has obtained the Abu Dhabi Global Market Financial Services License and established an international securities tokenization center

Coinbase has been granted a Financial Services License (FSP) by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), and will establish an international securities tokenization center in ADGM to conduct investment matching and custody services, issuing security tokens supported by underlying stocks. Certified addresses enjoy shareholder dividends and voting rights, and investors only need their wallets to participate. All transfers are subject to sanctions screening, and the platform can freeze or seize assets at the wallet level. The center will serve as Coinbase's on chain capital market and securities tokenization core infrastructure in Abu Dhabi, and together with its global derivatives business in Dubai, form two major overseas business hubs in the UAE.
