[Russian Central Bank Plans to Allow Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT Trading on Regulated Exchanges] According to Cointelegraph, the Russian Central Bank has proposed a list of cryptocurrencies eligible for public trading, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT. This proposal is being advanced under a new law signed by Putin on August 4, which grants the Russian Central Bank the authority to determine which digital currencies can be traded on organized exchanges and to establish related regulations. Under the proposal, non-qualified investors will have an annual purchase limit of 300,000 Russian rubles for cryptocurrencies, while qualified investors will not face any limits. The Russian Central Bank requires all investors to complete a risk assessment before trading. The proposal is open for public comment until August 24.
