US CFTC reaches enforcement settlement with Caroline Ellison and Gary Wang

According to the official website of the CFTC in the United States, the Federal Court for the Southern District of New York has issued supplemental consent orders for Caroline Ellison and Gary Wang. Caroline Ellison has been sentenced to a 5-year trading ban and a 10-year registration ban, while Gary Wang has been sentenced to a 5-year trading ban and an 8-year registration ban. Both individuals are required to continue cooperating with the CFTC investigation. The CFTC is currently not seeking recovery, refund, or civil fines, partly due to the high level of cooperation between the two individuals in the investigation and the $11.02 billion confiscation order issued in related criminal cases.
