Hudson River Trading achieved record revenue in the second quarter, while Jane Street recorded a loss

According to Bloomberg, Hudson River Trading, a quantitative trading company, achieved trading revenue of $11.4 billion in the second quarter, net profit of $7.4 billion, and adjusted EBITDA of approximately $8 billion, an increase of over 350% compared to the same period last year's $1.75 billion. Due to factors such as Situational Awareness investment, Jane Street recorded a loss of $15 billion in July, marking the first single month loss in a decade.
