[Goldman Sachs: SK Hynix Announces 40 Trillion KRW Buyback, Still Has 70 Trillion KRW Capacity] According to Tide Research, Goldman Sachs' August 19 report stated that SK Hynix announced a 40 trillion KRW (approximately $28.3 billion) stock buyback and cancellation plan, with the buyback set to begin on August 20. Goldman Sachs maintains a Buy rating and a target price of 3.5 million KRW, representing a 133% upside compared to the current price of 1.5 million KRW. Goldman Sachs estimates cumulative free cash flow from 2025 to 2027 to be approximately 252 trillion KRW. After deducting the current 40 trillion KRW buyback and approximately 30 trillion KRW in dividends, there is still around 70 trillion KRW available for additional buybacks. This buyback could cancel approximately 24 million shares, exceeding the dilution effect of 17.7 million shares brought by ADR listing.
