[Nearly 200 Ships Passed Through the Strait of Hormuz Last Week] According to a report by Jinse Finance, data from the UK Maritime Trade Operations on August 23 shows that nearly 200 ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz last week, up from 150 ships the previous week and about 40 ships two weeks ago. Data from maritime intelligence agency Kpler indicates that over 80% of the liquid cargo transported through the Strait of Hormuz in the past two weeks either opted for the Oman route, supported by the United States and authorized by the International Maritime Organization of the United Nations, or turned off their automatic identification systems to navigate covertly.
