Sandeep Nailwal: Polygon is advancing pledge and token economy reforms, with POL pledge yield expected to double

Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal stated that the team is advancing proposals for Polygon staking and token economics reform. The Polygon PoS plan introduces a protoplasm staking mechanism and runs parallel to Ethereum staking, with priority fees generated from each transaction allocated to POL stakers. It is expected that the POL pledge yield will nearly double, with the additional revenue coming from actual network fees. Pledge POL to obtain gas fee discounts and promote the application of liquid staking tokens sPOL in DeFi.
