Bitfinex Securities launches tokenized nickel security ALKN, plans to raise $50 million

According to CoinDesk, Bitfinex Securities announced the launch of the tokenized nickel security ALKN, which is linked to Alkamya Metacore, which holds high-purity nickel wire inventory worth $1.6 billion. Alkemya Metacore plans to raise $50 million through ALKN to support its subsidiary Green Transitional Metals in the development and commercialization of nickel products. The initial subscription of ALKN token to qualified investors will continue until October 15th. This project is the first tokenized commodity issuance project under the Salvadoran digital asset regulatory framework.
