bitcoin:native Short-term holders' SOPR enters overheated zone, time to wait rather than chase the rally The 7-day moving average of Bitcoin Short-Term Holder (STH) SOPR has recently surged to around 1.03. STH SOPR is an indicator that shows the realized profit or loss level of Bitcoin moved by short-term holders. If it's above 1, it means coins are moving in profit; if it's below 1, they're moving in loss. Looking at the chart, during previous uptrends, when STH SOPR rose to around 1.03, Bitcoin's price often experienced short-term corrections. Since it's currently at a similar level, it's worth considering the possibility of a short-term overheating correction. On the flip side, the ideal buying opportunity arises when STH SOPR drops below 0.99. Historically, this zone has shown short-term holders realizing losses, followed by Bitcoin's price rebounding repeatedly. So instead of chasing the rally at the current price, it's better to wait for STH SOPR to drop below 1 again, signaling the end of short-term overheating, and use that as a prime accumulation opportunity.
