Reuters: Polymarket executive says ready to deal with US midterm election trading violations

According to Reuters, Shana Bautista, the global head of investigation and intelligence at Polymarket, stated that Polymarket has a system in place to identify abnormal trading activity and will continue to block US users from using its international platform, in compliance with the settlement agreement reached with US regulators in 2022. Polymarket plans to launch a new webpage, publicly disclosing the operational details of market integrity review mechanisms such as machine learning, blockchain analysis, and transaction monitoring, and has already transferred over 100 cases to law enforcement agencies.
