I'm in Mexico City with the former presidential candidate of the Republic of Ecuador, Andrés Hernandez Arauz, talking about the integration of Andean and Caribbean progressivism. About how Bolívar's vision of Gran Colombia is completely opposed to the current U.S. government's perspective, which sees us as part of its vital space to extract the natural resources it needs, disregarding the rights of our people, and financing its geopolitical vision of controlling the Arctic Ocean, now open to routes due to ice melting caused by the climate crisis, and in direct opposition to China's sphere. Colombian progressivism has proposed a dialogue between civilizations instead of the human holocaust that will occur if the power of technofascism prevails in militarily powerful countries. Given that the U.S. government's project has been based on electoral fraud in our countries, Latin American progressivism must unite in effective actions against the matrix of lies and the project of manipulation and enslavement of our people.
