CryptoQuant analyst: Bitcoin futures demand weakens, active buying volume decreases
CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated that demand in the Bitcoin futures market has weakened, with an average net active buying volume of over 30 days dropping from $213.7 billion to $97.8 billion, a decrease of over 50%. On August 19th, when Bitcoin broke through $65000, the Taker Buy/Sell Ratio rose to 1.21, but since August 30th, the indicator has remained negative and investors have increased their short positions. The trading volume in the futures market is significantly higher than that in the spot and ETF markets, and the weakening demand for futures and the increase in short positions are suppressing the performance of Bitcoin prices.
