Vitalik: Suggest incorporating EIP-8288 into Ethereum upgrade to reduce transaction costs
Vitalik suggested in an article on X platform that the recursive STARK memory pool proposal EIP-8288 be included in the Ethereum I-star upgrade. This solution can place quantum secure signature data off chain, reducing the fuel cost of quantum secure privacy transactions from about 10 million to tens of thousands. The scheme aggregates transaction dependencies through dependency frames and recursive STARKs. Each node sends a STARK of approximately 100 to 300 KB per time period, with an additional cost of one STARK and 96 bytes per statement to be proven on the chain.
