The US Department of Justice is investigating whether NVIDIA attempted to evade antitrust scrutiny in order to reach a deal with Groq. Groq described the transaction as a non exclusive license agreement that allows NVIDIA to use Groq's customized chips. Groq CEO Jonathan Ross and COO Sonny Madeira have joined NVIDIA.
