BlueWallet Chief Technology Officer: 45 iOS encrypted wallets have serious or high-risk security vulnerabilities
The Chief Technology Officer of BlueWallet conducted a review of 494 iOS encrypted wallets in the App Store and found that 45 apps had serious or high-risk security vulnerabilities, of which 23 were potential serious risks and 22 were high-risk. Security issues include uploading mnemonics or private keys to the server, insufficient randomness of the wallet, server-side storage of keys, use of hard coded encryption keys, and loading unsigned JavaScript code. The Chief Technology Officer of BlueWallet reminds that there may be false positives in the analysis results, and applications not listed do not necessarily mean complete security.
