Morgan Stanley and other major US banks have raised their best lending rates to 7%

After the Federal Reserve raised interest rates, JPMorgan Chase, KeyCorp, and Bank of New York Mellon raised their prime lending rate from 6.75% to 7%, with the new rate taking effect from Thursday local time.
