The European Central Bank's monthly survey shows that consumer inflation expectations in the eurozone rose in August

--

The monthly survey released by the European Central Bank on Friday showed that the Eurozone's consumer price index for the next year is expected to rise by 3% in August, higher than the 2.9% in July; The three-year consumer price index is expected to rise from 2.7% in July to 2.9%, while the five-year consumer price index is expected to rise simultaneously. Investors have recently placed bets on the European Central Bank tightening monetary policy after the second increase in deposit rates, as officials respond to the surge in oil and gas prices caused by the Iran war, which began in February.
