Haseeb Qureshi: Zcash development fund should cease after expiration in 2028

Haseeb Qureshi, Managing Partner of Dragonfly, proposed that the Zcash Development Fund cease operations after its expiration in 2028, stating that the current fund size is sufficient to support the remaining development work and faces political risks in the future. According to ZecStats data, Zcash Development Fund holds 63962 ZECs worth approximately $95 million. Paradigm founder Matt Huang stated that the fund is of great importance in the context of AI network attacks and the development of quantum computing.
