Beijing releases action plan for 2026-2028 aimed at accelerating the development of token economy

The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and the Development and Reform Commission have released an action plan for 2026-2028, which calls for accelerating the iteration of basic models to enhance model capabilities, enforcing model and chip adaptation and optimization, supporting the research and development of inference specific chips, model lightweighting, and edge deployment, and guiding the high-level construction and collaborative use of intelligent computing resources to improve token production capacity.
