Not sure if I’m sick or something. With the disappearance of dividends, there’s basically no risk-free returns anymore. For the past six months, it’s all been about trading. Total asset returns are up 20%, and there’s been almost no drawdown. Looking at the past few years on an annual basis, it’s been zero drawdown. Even in bad years, the worst was still a 20% return, and in good years, it was much more. I used to feel anxious, but not worried, because the industry dividends were there. As long as the bull market came, you could casually pick a few projects and make money. Total assets would easily outperform $BTC. But now, with the dividends gone and the scale growing, I feel powerless. The main issue is that, since I’ve never experienced a drawdown, I’m afraid to face one. I’m scared that if I do, my mindset will crumble, and I won’t be able to recover the losses. This fear of the unknown caused by drawdowns is overwhelming.
