Spaces launches Trust Anchor, supporting identity verification based on Bitcoin

Spaces launches Trust Anchor, allowing applications to directly verify human readable identities based on Bitcoin without relying on centralized servers. After obtaining a single Trust ID, users can scan or paste it into a Space compatible application to verify their identity based on the locally verified Space protocol status. The Trust ID is generated by the Bitcoin block header chain and the accumulated status of Spaces. The Veritas application on macOS can generate this ID without running the entire Bitcoin node, and users can also connect to personal nodes or generate it through the Spaces client. This scheme uses Bitcoin as the basis for a decentralized certificate authority, allowing applications to authenticate their identities without trusting company servers. (Source: Bitcoin News)
