Approximately $15.9 billion worth of BTC options and $2.1 billion worth of ETH options will expire on September 25th at 4:00 PM (UTC+8), with BTC options accounting for 37% of Deribit's total open interest options of $43.5 billion. Deribit CEO Luuk Strijers stated that call option positions were dominant in this quarter's contracts, with a Put/Call open ratio of 0.69. Currently, 55% of the approximately $9.4 billion Call is in real value, and the maximum pain point for BTC options is $75000. Strijers stated that after the maturity settlement, market makers' hedging and Gamma effect may dissipate, and BTC's short-term volatility may rise, and the market trading range may readjust.
