A16z crypto stated that the RWA perpetual contract turnover reached $117.3 billion in August 2026, with an open interest contract size of $4.8 billion. Among them, the on chain transaction volume is about 101 billion US dollars, accounting for 86%, and the centralized exchange transaction volume is about 16 billion US dollars. Stocks account for 48% of the transaction volume, while commodities and indices account for 28% and 18% respectively. After Hyperliquid launches HIP-3 in October 2025, developers can deploy their own perpetual contract marketplace based on HyperCore.
