StarkWare reduces GPU computing cost for quantum secure Bitcoin transactions to $66

StarkWare announced that through optimization, the GPU computing cost for quantum secure Bitcoin transactions has been reduced from $320 to $66, resulting in a cost reduction of approximately 79%. The transaction was mined on the Bitcoin network in August, and the preparation process used approximately 100 GPUs and accumulated about 3100 hours of computation time. The $320 only refers to the computation cost before the transaction is put on chain, excluding Bitcoin network transaction fees.
