Revolut receives approval from the Argentine central bank to acquire Banco Cetelem

The digital bank Revolut has been approved by the Central Bank of Argentina to acquire Banco Cetelem Argentina. After the transaction is completed, it will be renamed Revolut Bank Argentina S.A.U. and operate as a licensed bank. The institution will not initially provide products or services to the public, and will launch local business after completing regulatory and operational requirements. Currently, over 150000 people have joined the Argentina business standby list.
