Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of Strategy, stated that the company positions MSTR common stock as Bitcoin exposure and ownership of digital credit business, and positions STRC preferred stock as a tool to provide US dollar returns and reduce volatility. Strategy can issue additional shares when STRC is above face value and repurchase when it is below face value, in order to adjust the circulation scale and dividend burden. The company distinguishes US dollar liquidity into reserves for paying dividends and interest, as well as funds used to purchase Bitcoin or repurchase securities. The daily dividend plan for STRC still needs to be approved, and repurchase does not guarantee the bottom line of STRC price, nor does STRC guarantee the stability of principal or dividend payment.
