NEAR Intents loses $3.8 million due to security vulnerability, official promises full compensation

NEAR Intents suffered a loss of approximately $3.8 million due to a vulnerability in Omni's charging and withdrawal infrastructure and smart contract interaction. The official has promised to fully compensate users. At present, the contract vulnerability has been fixed, and NEAR Intents and near.com are expected to resume service within 1 hour. Charging and withdrawal for some networks such as BSC, Polygon, TON, Optimism, Avalanche will be suspended for about 12 hours. The team has reported the incident to law enforcement and attempted to recover the funds.
