My stupid prescription, Dr. Restrepo, got the highest rate of employment, the lowest rate of hunger and poverty in the 21st century, the highest levels of per capita income in my last quarter of my government in all of Colombia’s history. You and Abelard today, as you did in the Duke’s government in your first month of government, shot unemployment almost to the double-digit figure that you handed over to my government. Get back! It's called that. How unfortunate that part of the Colombian electorate believes that Colombia’s destiny is to go back. Again IMF, again on indebtedness that drove you, Dr. Restrepo, giving subsidies to the rich and imposing a subsidy on gasoline paid with the budget. That these days is called economic ignorance and anachronism. I propose my support from the opposition to make a great deal for Colombia’s equitable progress. What allowed us the best social economic figures of the century were: 1. Go out of hydrocarbon extraction and move to actual production in industry, trade and tourism. Moving to proportional production, that is, the transformation of materials to make other materials for people's good lives, automatically raises the level of employment and overall productivity. 2. Increase the minimum wage every year to the level of a family's life basket. This was demanded by the social doctrine of the Catholic Church in the encyclical "Rerum Novarum" of Leo XIII and you as a fervent Catholic should apply it, in that encyclical and in that of Francis I on the "common house" and in that of Leo XIV on "a worthy humanity" you would find a comprehensive agreement with the progressivism I lead. 3. A leading role of the economy by the state in strategic matters such as tariffs for industrialization, abundant and cheap credit for small and medium-sized industry, cheap credit for industry, food production export, zero credit for any national industry that produces an increase in the computing capacity of Colombia and energy and railways. 4. Drive the decarbonization of the economy through a 100% clean electricity generation matrix, replacing extremely expensive gas with supremely cheap and abundant solar energy in Colombia. Remember that in my administration I managed to raise the growth in four years from 500% of the shipping industry and 200% of the electric car industry. 5. Distribute another million hectares among the peasantry and double the country ' s food production to lower family basket prices and raise real wages. You and we can lower the interest rate of the Bank of the Republic's board by setting up another majority on the production and labor friendly board. 5. And if you do not want to reach agreements, Mr. Restrepo, given the overwhelming sectarianism that prevails, then just remember my advice: it is labor and nature that are the sources of wealth, and in Colombia real wages as an expression of the value of labor allow the expansion of the internal market, both formal and informal, and increase the number of companies and the workforce. When the country decides to return to a legitimate institutionality it may be too late for you, but these will be the economic bases already experienced with positive data for a national agreement.
