Dear compatriots, A few months ago, we Paraguayans once again demonstrated the strength of our democracy, when citizens participate and take charge of the country’s destiny. More than 1,400,000 Paraguayans went to the primaries. Each person voted freely, and every vote counted equally. That participation is democracy. Democracy is not defined by a poll or the opinion of a few. Democracy is expressed when the people go to the polls, exercise their right, and decide. This Sunday, we are called once again to elect our municipal authorities. It’s about the direction of our communities, the future of our families, and the development of our municipalities. I invite every citizen to participate with freedom, hope, and responsibility. Let no one give up their right. Let every Paraguayan make their voice heard. Democracy is strengthened when we vote and when we understand that, united, we are invincible. This Sunday, Paraguay needs us to show up. Let’s participate. Let’s vote. Let’s make our voices heard.
