US judge rejects class action lawsuit against Kelsier Ventures and Meteora
US federal judge Jennifer L. Rochon dismissed the class action lawsuit against Kelsier Ventures, the organizer of the Libra project, decentralized financial platform Meteora, and developer Benjamin Chow, and refused the plaintiff's request to submit a revised lawsuit. The court held that the plaintiff failed to prove that Meteora constituted an unincorporated association, nor did they prove that Kelsier Ventures engaged in extortion, and that Benjamin Chow's technical assistance and Meteora's collection of fees were insufficient to prove fraudulent intent. Libra is a token promoted by Argentine President Javier Milei, which has affected over 44000 investors. Javier Milei denies responsibility. (Source: Bitcoin.com News)
