Japanese listed company Metaplanet has revised its capital allocation policy, planning to allocate approximately 85% to 90% of its assets to Bitcoin and add 10% to 15% of its strategic investment allocation for financial platform mergers and acquisitions, income generating assets, and asset management business investments. The sources of funds for strategic investment allocation include BitBonds, loans, Bitcoin collateralized credit financing, and perpetual preferred stocks. The credit financing loans for acquiring Bitcoin are controlled below approximately 10% of the net asset value of Bitcoin.
