Ethereum Glamsterdam Upgrade Increases Sepolia Block Gas Cap to Nearly 200 Million

The Ethereum Glamsterdam upgrade has raised the block gas limit of the Sepolia testnet from approximately 60 million to nearly 200 million, and developers are testing higher capacity support for more payments and transactions. Early testing blocks only used 26% to 46% of their capacity. A round of voting lasting 6 minutes generated all the planned blocks and allowed 99.97% of eligible staking weights to participate in the final determination. This upgrade adjusts transaction processing costs and data access costs.
