OneKey founder Yishi stated that the Ledger incident has raised concerns about the security of the "last centimeter" of hardware wallets. OneKey plans to improve packaging, mnemonic display paths, motherboard communication, dealer authorization, and user verification information by introducing a backup process that does not require displaying mnemonics on device screens, and strengthening encryption of sensitive communication links within the motherboard. As of October 10th, OneKey has not received any reports of financial losses from users due to this incident.
