Odaily Planet Daily News: Deribit, a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, announced its withdrawal from the Russian market in response to sanctions imposed by the European Union. As a company registered in the Netherlands, Deribit is obligated to comply with EU regulations, which currently prohibit the platform from providing services to Russian nationals and residents.
From now on, Russian nationals and residents are not allowed to use Deribit's services unless certain exceptions are met. These exceptions include individuals with dual citizenship of the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, or individuals permanently residing in EEA member states or Switzerland. For example, Russian nationals residing in Ireland or holding dual Danish citizenship can use Deribit's services. (TASS)
